evening's cumulus display

As the presenter’s presentation drew to a close most went up to look at the photographers work, a few of us were drawn to the evening light golden in the sky.  Arriving had been a shower of sleet, light rains, and rainbows.  Now the east was lit with dark creamy streaks – the lingering pannus now virga of the squalls. The west by a low setting sun under the clouds was lit, and aflame with trumpeting glory.
